Music MMO

ABOUT US

The idea

Music MMO started with a simple question: what if a livestream wasn't something you just watched, but a place your character actually lived? Most games ask you to download a client, learn controls and grind for hours. We wanted the opposite — a game you can join from the couch, from a phone, from anywhere you can open YouTube.

So we build persistent little worlds that run as 24/7 broadcasts. Every ship, every character on screen belongs to a real viewer. You type a command in the chat, and something happens in the video — live, for everyone watching. That moment of "that's me on the stream!" is the whole point.

How we build it

The worlds are real-time 3D simulations rendered in the browser and broadcast straight to YouTube with our own streaming pipeline — no game engine downloads, no launchers. The site you are on now handles accounts, progress and the in-game economy, while the broadcast machine renders the world and listens to the live chat.

We keep the games small and readable on purpose: one screen, one world, everything visible. The depth comes from progression — resources, levels, better gear, new ships — not from complexity.

Who we are

Music MMO is an independent project built in Sweden by a small team with a background in web platforms and live streaming tools. We have spent years building software for creators — this is what happened when we pointed those tools at a game world.

The first game, Lofi Space, is live in beta right now. More worlds are on the roadmap.
